Gersh Taicher

I was born in Chernivtsi in 1952.

In 1970 I was admitted into the Novosibirsk State University to studyi physics.  After graduation, I worked as a teacher in the steading of Zamogila, which is close to the Dikhtinetz village in the Putilsky district of the Chernivtsi region. In 1978, I emigrated from the USSR to Israel.

In Israel, I defended a doctoral thesis in applied physics at the Weitzman Institute of Science in 1984.  I am a founder and president of EchoMRI Corporation (Singapore and US), and the inventor and developer of the EchoMRI method for analyzing the body composition of animals and people.  I hold 31 independent patents in nuclear magnetic resonance, with application to the oil industry, pharmaceuticals, and medicine.
